Curly is not one thing. The difference between a loose barrel ringlet and a tight corkscrew changes how a unit looks, how it behaves and how much work it asks of you. Here are all six of our curl patterns, from loosest to tightest, so you can choose with your eyes open.

- Loose Deep Wave — beachy and undone
- Paradise Curly — glossy barrel ringlets
- Deep Wave — defined and voluminous
- Raw Curly — natural spiral
- Burmese Curly — tight coil
- Fiji Curly — tightest corkscrew
Loose Deep Wave
A softer, beachier take on deep wave, with looser waves and that just-off-vacation feel. All the movement, a gentler pattern, and an easy, undone finish for days you want to keep things effortless.
Paradise Curly
The glamorous end of the range. Open S-waves run through the lengths and gather into full barrel ringlets at the ends, finished with real shine. The pattern is consistent from root to tip, so it reads polished rather than natural — this is the one that photographs.
Deep Wave
Defined, springy waves with real fullness and body. Deep wave reads dramatic and voluminous, and it loves water, so a quick mist brings the pattern back in seconds. Reach for it when you want movement and volume that turn heads.
Raw Curly
Our truest curl. Medium-diameter spirals with real length to them, and the natural depth of tone that only comes from unprocessed single-donor hair. The pattern is defined without being uniform, which is exactly why it reads like hair that grew that way rather than hair that was set.
Burmese Curly
Tight, voluminous coils that sit close to natural type 3 and 4 hair. Revive the curls with water and a little curl cream, and never brush them dry. This is the one to choose when you want a full, natural, true wash-and-go curl.
Fiji Curly
Small, springy corkscrew spirals packed densely from root to tip. The smallest curl diameter we carry, with a soft natural halo rather than a flat finish. The closest thing we make to a true wash-and-go.

Caring for a curl unit
Every curl on this page behaves the same way in three respects, and getting these right is most of the work.
Water is the reset button. Mist with water, or water and a little leave-in, then scrunch upward with your hands. Air dry or diffuse. The pattern comes back.
Never brush a curl dry. Dry brushing loosens the pattern and creates frizz that does not go back. Detangle damp, from the ends upward, with a wide-tooth comb or the flexible brush in your Ayira Kit.
Tighter curl, more moisture. The tighter the pattern, the more often it wants conditioning. Fiji and Burmese ask more of you than Paradise does. That is not a fault — it is the trade for how natural they look.
